Canvas actions are available in the Studio Canvas editor. They are not part of the public REST API or the ligantic CLI. Access rules are in Canvas Access.
The node actions menu in the Canvas editor shows these actions. Each is shown only when its condition is met:
Action | Shown when | See |
|---|---|---|
Run flow | The node type is | |
Extract table… | The node preview is a | |
Create schema… | The node preview is a | |
Convert to resource | The node type ends in | |
Duplicate | Always, when the Canvas is editable | |
Delete | Always, when the Canvas is editable |
Convert to resource does not succeed for flow:literal nodes. See Canvas Conversion.
The Canvas editor provides a save-state indicator, a version menu, zoom in, zoom out, lock or unlock, fit view, and a compatible-run selector.
If another session saves the Canvas first, the editor shows Canvas changed in another session and reloads the page.
The assistant panel proposes these actions: extract-table, derive-schema, convert-literal, and auto-layout. Each proposal has a button that runs the matching action above. Accepting an assistant action confirms that action. It does not review candidates.
If no assistant Flow is configured, the panel shows Assistant flow is not configured.
