Data - Context

Type identifier: data:context Category: Data Operations

Description

Provides access to run context values. Use this node to retrieve metadata about the current run, such as the Space ID, run ID, or the identity of the user who triggered the Flow.

Input Handles

This node has no input handles. It provides context values from the run environment.

CUID2 identifier of the current run; in Flow v2, this is the same value as flowRunId

CUID2 identifier of the user/identity who triggered the Flow

createdAt

date

ISO 8601 timestamp when the run was created

startedAt

ISO 8601 timestamp when the run started

Behaviour

Execution Flow

  1. When the node is processed, it reads the requested context value
  2. The value is set as output on the value handle
  3. Date values are converted to ISO 8601 JSON string format

Context Values

  • spaceId: The Space in which the Flow is running
  • flowExecutionId: Identifier for this run. Existing Flows continue to use this value; Flow v2 returns the same identifier as flowRunId.
  • flowRunId: Identifier for this run. This value is available in Studio when Flow v2 is enabled for the Space.
  • spaceIdentityId: The identity that triggered the Flow (user or API client)
  • createdAt: When the run record was created (before any processing)
  • startedAt: When the run actually began processing
