Description

The Browser - Actions node executes a sequence of automated actions on a browser page. It supports navigation, clicking, typing, key presses, and content extraction (text, HTML, screenshots). Each action in the sequence is executed in order.

Input Handles

Handle	Type	Description
`trigger`	control	Triggers the action sequence.
`page`	browser page	The browser page from the Browser - Navigate node.
`<actionId>-url`	`string`	(Dynamic) URL for a Navigate action.
`<actionId>-selector`	`string`	(Dynamic) CSS selector for a Click, Type, Get Text, Get HTML, or Get Screenshot action.
`<actionId>-text`	`string`	(Dynamic) Text for a Type action.
`<actionId>-key`	`string`	(Dynamic) Key for a Press action.
`<actionId>-hasnottext`	`string`	(Dynamic) Has Not Text value for a Get Text action.

Note: Dynamic handles appear only for options set to dynamic mode.

<actionId> is the ID of the action that the handle belongs to.

Output Handles

Handle	Type	Description
`page`	browser page	The page after actions complete.
`<actionId>-result`	`string` or `file`	Result of a Get Text or Get HTML action (`string`), or a Get Screenshot action (`file`).
`success`	control	Triggered when all actions succeed.
`error`	control	Triggered when any action fails.

Actions Array

The node contains an array of actions executed in sequence:

Navigate Action

Field	Type	Description
Type	`"navigate"`	Navigate to a URL.
URL	`string` or dynamic	Target URL.

Click Action

Field	Type	Description
Type	`"click"`	Click an element.
Selector	`string` or dynamic	CSS selector for target element.

Type Action

Field	Type	Description
Type	`"type"`	Type text into an element.
Selector	`string` or dynamic	CSS selector for input element.
Text	`string` or dynamic	Text to type.

Press Action

Type	`"press"`	Press a keyboard key.
Key	`string` or dynamic	Key to press (for example, "Enter", "Tab").

Get Text Action

Field	Type	Description
Type	`"get-text"`	Extract text content.
Selector	`string` or dynamic	CSS selector for element.
Exclude Hidden Text	`boolean`	Exclude hidden text (default: true).
Has Not Text	`string` or dynamic	Match only elements that do not contain this text.

Get HTML Action

Field	Type	Description
Type	`"get-html"`	Extract HTML content.
Selector	`string` or dynamic	CSS selector for element.

Get Screenshot Action

Behaviour

Receives the browser page from a Browser - Navigate node
Executes each action in sequence:
- Navigation waits for page load
- Clicks do not wait for the element to be visible
- Typing clears field and enters text
- Extractions return content via output handles
Returns modified page for chaining
Triggers success or error control flow

Action Results

Get Text, Get HTML, and Get Screenshot actions create output handles:

Handle name is <actionId>-result
Get Text and Get HTML return strings
Get Screenshot returns file entries

Selector Waiting

Actions that use a selector (Click, Type, Get Text, Get HTML, Get Screenshot) wait for the selector to match an element on the page. If no element matches before the wait ends, the node triggers error.
