Description

The Browser - Navigate node opens a headless browser and navigates to a specified URL. It creates a browser page that can be used by subsequent Browser - Actions nodes for web scraping, automation, or testing scenarios.

Behaviour

  1. Checks that the URL is valid; if it is not, triggers error
  2. Opens a browser page, using the locale if specified
  3. Navigates to the target URL
  4. Waits for page load
  5. Returns page handle for subsequent actions
  6. Triggers success or error control flow

Page Handle

The output page handle identifies the browser page opened by this node. Connect it to a Browser - Actions node to act on that page.

Examples

Simple Page Load

Configuration:

  • URL: https://example.com

Output: Page handle for the loaded page.

Dynamic URL Navigation

Configuration:

  • URL: dynamic

Input:

Use case: Navigate to URLs determined at runtime.

Localised Scraping

Configuration:

  • URL: https://example.com
  • Locale: fr-FR

Use case: Load page with French locale for localised content.
