Importing your .xlsx file
Importing your .xlsx file

Overview

Importing an .xlsx file involves:

  1. Creating a Schema
  2. Importing the structure of your .xlsx file
  3. Reviewing and saving the generated Schema
  4. Importing the data from your .xlsx file

Step 1: Create a Schema

  1. Head to the left panel and click the + button at the top.
  2. Select New Schema.

Step 2: Generate or import your Schema

  1. Click Generate or import Schema.
  2. Select XLSX as the import mode.
  3. Choose the .xlsx file you want to use.

Step 3: Review your Schema

  1. Check that the generated fields and structure are correct.
  2. Give your Schema a name at the top.
  3. Click Save at the bottom.

Note: At this stage, only the structure of your XLSX file has been imported — not the data. You can make any changes to your Schema before importing the records.

Step 4: Import your data

  1. Open your new Schema from the left panel.
  2. Click Import at the top.
  3. Select your .xlsx file.
  4. Complete the import.

Your XLSX data should now appear as records within the Schema.
