Creating and managing folders

Overview

Folders help you organise your Space. You can nest multiple folders for your Schemas, Flows, and Experiences.

Creating a folder

To create a new folder:

  1. Log in to your account at Ligantic.com
  2. Open a Space.
  3. Click the + button at the top left of the left-nav bar. Then select New Folder.
  4. Enter a name for the folder.
  5. (Optional) Select a Parent Folder.
  6. (Optional) Choose a custom icon.
  7. (Optional) Choose whether to leave the folder open by default.
  8. Click Create.

Editing a folder name or settings

To edit a folder name or change the settings:

  1. Log in to your account at Ligantic.com
  2. Open a Space.
  3. Hover over the folder you want to edit.
  4. Click the 3-dot menu (⋮) on the right.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Make any changes: the folder name, icon, parent folder, or default open state.
  7. Click Save.

Organising Folders

Root-level drag and drop

Reorder top-level folders anytime by dragging and dropping them.

  1. Log in to your account at Ligantic.com
  2. Open a Space.
  3. Locate the folder you want to move in the left navigation bar.
  4. Click and hold the folder.
  5. Drag it up or down to your desired position at the root level.
  6. Release to drop it into place.

Nesting Folders

To nest folders after creation, you need to:

  1. Log in to your account at Ligantic.com
  2. Open a Space.
  3. Hover over the folder you want to nest in the left navigation bar.
  4. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side of the folder name.
  5. Click Move.
  6. Select your target Parent Folder (the folder you want to nest it inside).
  7. Click Move.
